  • 8:45 p.m. Tyler Henderson, 38, 222 Butterfly Lane, operating a vehicle while intoxicated resulting in injury, leaving the scene of an accident

  • 7:12 a.m. Medical emergency in the 820 block of Davey Cox Road. A 79-year-old male was complaining of back pain 
  • 8:48 a.m. Document service in the 640 block of Harold Smith Road
  • 9:33 a.m. Medical alarm sounding in the 3440 block of Old State Road 37. An 80-year-old female sounded the alarm but the operator was unable to understand the woman who was needing help
  • 9:36 a.m. Domestic fight in the 2890 block of Dixie Highway. A male reported his girlfriend was throwing things. While on the phone with police the male said he no longer needed an officer
  •  9:44 a.m. Report of a vehicle fire in the 1330 block of West Crandell Street
  • 9:56 a.m. Controlled fire in the 160 block of Kelso Road
  • 10:04 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 680 block of Duncan Bend Lane. A person had made some disturbing Facebook posts. That road is flooded and the calls can not get to the person to check on them
  • 11:51 a.m. Report of an information report in the 1080 block of Rabbitsville Road. Mitchell Police were chasing a person that wrecked their vehicle on Rabbitsville Road Saturday night. A male out feeding his cow found a person’s sweatshirt in his field while out feeding his cattle and didn’t know what to do with it
  • 1:15 p.m. Controlled fire in the 3600 block of Leatherwood Road
  • 1:46 p.m. Request for animal control at Pumphouse and Ball roads. A horse was in the roadway. The owner picked up the horse
  • 2:32 p.m. Request for an officer in the 150 block of Benham Lane. A person reported the neighbor behind him had cut his fence and caused damage to his property by driving a vehicle on it. The caller was told to file for a protective order and to notify the DNR about the animal baiting
  • 2:41 p.m. Noise complaint in the 130 block of Sipes Branch Road
  • 2:50 p.m. 911 call hang up at Mitchell Manor. A resident had called the wrong number
  • 4:07 p.m. Citizen assist in the 150 block of Helmar Addition. A woman allowed a male to gather his belongings
  • 5 p.m. Lawrence county weekly radio test
  • 5:08 p.m. Warrant service in the 300 block of Tressler Street
  • 5:21 p.m. Warrant service at the Rosemont motel
  • 7:10 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a suicidal female at Rocket Fuel on 16th Street. The woman told police she was having relationship problems but was not suicidal 
  • 7:19 p.m. A person was on station reporting a missing person in the 7050 block of State Road 54 West. The woman said she returned home this morning and found her husband’s cell phone and the door kicked in
  • 7:21 p.m. Medical emergency in the 3100 block of Shawnee Drive. A 98-year-old female fell and is bleeding from her head
  • 8:05 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 1100 block of Fifth Street at R & L Transmission. Police could not find the male
  • 9:27 p.m. Warrant service on Dale Street
  • 10:22 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Stevens Lane

Incidents – March 23

  • 12:35 a.m. Report of a missing 18-year-old female with a mental disability in the 290 block of Stevens Lane The girl has possibly met a man. The male was found at Storage Express and the missing female was located. The male signed a no-trespass order
  • 12:40 a.m. Traffic stop at Burton Lane and Rabbitsville Road
