(BEDFORD) – 21st Century Scholar information is normally presented to students in the spring.
But due to CONVID-19, Bedford Middle School Counselor JoAnn Cobb is alerting 7th and 8th-grade parents that now is the time to apply.
“I wanted to make sure students and parents got this information now since the plan is not to return to campus until April,” said Cobb. “I know it is nuts to be thinking about our middle school students going to college, but now is the time to start planning.”
Students must apply for 21st Century Scholarship by June 30 after their 8th-grade year to be eligible.
Qualifying students can receive up to four years of paid tuition at an eligible Indiana college or university after they graduate from high school.
