(BEDFORD) – The Bedford Plan Commission approved the Meadowlake West subdivision after addressing concerns over sewer and stormwater issues.
A total of 18 lots will be developed on 13 acres on the city’s eastside. Developers James Greg Pitman, Corey Allen, and Bledsoe Riggert Cooper James were present at the meeting to answer questions on the project.
The developer worked with the neighbors across the street from the new subdivision to assure them that all of their concerns were addressed.
In other business, the commission approved a request from Laura and Joseph George, of Pekin, to subdivide a lot located at 30th and Washington Avenue. The plan is to keep the existing house on one lot and keep the existing mobile homes on the other lot. The request now will move to a public hearing.
