Bill Requiring Cursive Writing Lessons Passes Indiana Senate

(STATEHOUSE) – A bill that would require all public, charter, and accredited nonpublic elementary schools to include cursive writing in their curriculum has passed in the Indiana Senate.

The bill now returns to the Indiana House of Representatives. It would go into effect July 1, if it passes the House and is signed by Gov. Eric Holcomb.
