(BEDFORD) – On Friday, the Indiana State Police Bloomington District A.C.E.S. went to a residence in the 200 block of Old State Road 450, west of Bedford, to locate 34-year-old Timothy W. Myers, of Bedford.
Myers was wanted on an active arrest warrant for possession of meth and visiting a common nuisance.
According to ISP Sgt. Curt Durnil, when troopers arrived they also found 39-year-old Christine Blackburn and 25-year-old Shanda Garland, both of Bedford, at the home.
Troopers arrested Myers on the warrant. In his pocket, troopers found meth.
In addition, they found meth in plain view inside the residence. A consent to search was signed and ultimately a search warrant was issued for the residence.
Upon executing the search warrant, troopers found more than 10 grams of meth, syringes, and items associated with dealing meth in Garland’s belongings. In addition, troopers located meth in Blackburn’s room.
Other items of drug paraphernalia were also located during the search.
Myers was arrested on the warrant and a new felony charge of possession of meth.
Blackburn was arrested on a charge of possession of meth and Garland is facing charges of felony charges of dealing meth more than 10 grams, possession of meth and unlawful possession of a syringe.
All three were incarcerated in the Lawrence County Jail.
