Betty Jean Corbin, 88, of Bloomington, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020, at 7:35 a.m. at Stonecroft Health Campus in Bloomington.
She was born in Needmore on July 22, 1931, to Joseph and Elizabeth (Goodman) Deckard. Betty married John W. Corbin on January 9, 1948, and he preceded her in death in 2003. Betty worked at RCA in Bloomington.
She is survived by her children, Kayla Ann Spurgeon of Bloomington, Tammy Jo Garrett of Bedford, Michael John Corbin of Bloomington and Christopher Paul Corbin of Orlando, Florida, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Joyce Deckard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Walter Corbin, and 12 siblings.
Cremation was chosen with burial at a later date in Clover Hill Cemetery.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
