David Buskirk, 85, of Shoals passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020, at his residence.
He was born August 4, 1934, in Worthington, Indiana to John and Clara Buskirk. He married Sue Morrow on February 14, 1987, and she survives.
David was retired from the National Gypsum, was a member of the Shoals Eagles Lodge and was a member of the Shoals Nazarene Church. Also, surviving are two sons, Tom Buskirk of Linton and Steve Buskirk of Indianapolis; one daughter, Mary Jo Fulford of Linton; a step-son, Frank “Eddie” Garbett of Bloomington; and his grand and great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
He is preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, Rex, Hubert, and Popeye.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
