  • 4:21 p.m. Trespassing in the 4550 block of Indian Creek Road. The caller says there is a male in a trench coat parked near the bridge on her property and walking back into the woods. The male was gone when police arrived. Police will make extra patrols
  • 4:33 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a red Chevrolet Colorado at State Road 37 and Trogdon Lane
  • 4:44 p.m. Report of a disturbance at the Marathon Station on State Road 37. A person was being transported for a psychological appointment and the driver had to pull over because the female became combative and then exited the vehicle. The female was transported by police to IU Health Hospital for a medical evaluation
  • 4:48 p.m. A resident in the 4410 block of Leesville Road reported someone in a small red truck keeps driving by her house. The caller says a couple of weeks ago someone put a note in her mailbox saying they were going to kill her and let her dogs off their chains so they will be struck and killed. While on the phone with the dispatcher the female said she was having trouble breathing and chest pains. An ambulance responded
  • 5:11 p.m. Agency assist in the 450 block of Dale Street
  • 5:38 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 4800 block of Sand Pit Road. The alarm was accidentally set off
  • 5:50 p.m. Medical emergency in the 4410 block of Leesville Road. A female was having chest pains and difficulty breathing
  • 6:27 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a brown or grey Jeep southbound on State Road 37 at the Monroe County line
  • 6:49 p.m. 911 call in the 20 block of Teke Burton Drive. It was an accidental call. 
  • 7:04 p.m. Report of a suspicious person at South 8th and Curry streets in Mitchell. The caller says a female in all black was walking back and forth in the area. Police say there was no issue
  • 7:46 p.m. Report of a suspicious person at North 8th Street in Mitchell
  • 8:17 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a male child in the 200 block of Dixie Highway. Both father and son were fine
  • 9:34 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 7150 block of Suddarth Lane in Mitchell. The woman is going through a divorce and the male is threatening to throw out the paperwork in the mud. The parties were separated for the evening
  • 10:12 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Teke Burton Road
  • 10:39 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Hancock Avenue
  • 10:55 p.m. 911 call in the 1740 block of South Meridian Road. It was an accidental call

  • 12:13 a.m. Medical emergency in the 2850 block of Hillside Drive. An 82-year-old was having trouble breathing
  • 12:15 a.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 at The Woods
  • 1:39 a.m. Transport detail for a female from IU Health Hospital to a facility in Terre Haute 
  • 2:05 a.m. Medical emergency in the 20 block of Teke Burton Drive. A person fell
  • 4:10 a.m. Traffic stop at Pleasant View Drive and Main Street

Accidents – Jan. 29

  • 5:46 p.m. Property damage accident at State Road 37 and State Road 60 in Mitchell
  • 7:32 p.m. Accident with possible injuries in the 40 block of Farmer Street. A person ran off the roadway and struck a trailer. The driver is trying to push the vehicle back on the roadway
  • 8:52 p.m. Property damage accident in the 1500 block of Wallner Quarry Road
