  • 7:50 a.m. Disabled vehicle at US 50 West near Art Gallery Road causing a traffic hazard

  • 10:16 a.m. Report of trespassing in the 500 block of West Oak Street in Mitchell. The caller says there are several people outside of her apartment that should not be there

  • 12:11 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a 3-year-old child at a home in the 130 block of East Frank Street. The Department of Child Services went to the home and could hear arguing and smelled the odor of marijuana and no one would answer the door
  • 12:31 p.m. A female inmate was transported to IU Health Hospital emergency room
  • 12:56 p.m. Agency assist in the 430 block of Main Street
  • 1:15 p.m. Report of a carbon monoxide alarm sounding in the 100 block of 7th Street in Oolitic
  • 1:43 p.m. Medical emergency in the 360 block of Moore Lane in Springville. A person was not breathing and is believed to have passed away
  • 1:47 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a black Chevrolet Rio westbound from State Road 158 from State Road 37
  • 1:50 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a gray Ford Fiesta at State Road 54/58 entering Avoca
  • 2:06 p.m. Report of a mobile home fire at 20 Trinton Avenue. Shawswick and Marion VFDs and an IU Health Hospital ambulance responded

  • 4:08 Request for animal control to the 1320 block of Leatherwood Road. The neighbor’s dog just attacked his dog again. Two dogs were impounded and taken to the humane society. The owner was issued citations for animals running at large

  • 5:01 p.m. Off-duty assist at South 6th Street and West Grissom Avenue. A female was given a courtesy ride
  • 5:12 p.m. Citizen dispute at the dealerships at State Road 37. The caller says a person in a grey Dodge Ram is following him and his son around the parking lot refusing to allow them to leave. The Dodge truck was gone when police arrived

  • 5:54 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 300 block of Wells Avenue. The caller says a male has just finished rehab and has taken a bottle of Seroquel and she is worried. Police say the male is inside the home very intoxicated. 
  • 6:10 p.m. Medical emergency in the 3000 block of Shawnee Drive South. A person fell and injured their hip
  • 6:10 p.m. Warrant service in the 300 block of North 8th Street
  • 6:25 p.m. Warrant service in the 700 block of Main Street in Mitchell
  •  6:57 p.m. Follouw up investigation at IU Health Hospital 
  • 7:07 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1810 block of US 50 West
  •  7:09 p.m. 911 call hangup in the 1560 block of Old US 60 West. A child was playing with the phone
  • 7:22 p.m. A person was on station to report credit card fraud
  • 7:29 p.m. Medical emergency in the 910 block of West Warren Street. A 20-year-old was unconscious

  • 8:02 p.m. 911 call reporting an erratic driver in a silver Equinox at State Road 37 and Old State Road 37. Monroe County Sheriff’s Department was alerted
