  • 6:41 a.m. Report of suspicious people in the 5690 block of State Road 158

  • 7:50 a.m. Request for a welfare check at 12th and Orchard streets. The doors of  a gray Dodge is stopped at the intersection and the driver is possibly asleep
  • 9:07 a.m. Traffic stop in the 3400 block of Coveyville Road. A citation was issued for expired license plates
  • 9:10 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1380 block of South Meridian Road. A male was having withdrawals from pain medicine
  • 9:59 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 54, west of Greer Lane
  • 10:04 a.m. Request for animal control to the 8320 block of US 50 West for a stray dog in a trap
  • 10:05 a.m. Request for animal control to the 280 block of Guthrie Bend for a stray dog
  • 10:11 a.m. Police made extra patrols in the 6080 at State Road 54 West
  • 10:32 a.m. 911 call from an unknown location. It was an accidental call
  • 10:33 a.m. Controlled fire in the 10400 block of Williams Road
  • 10:36 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 54 near the Embree Farm
  • 10:38 a.m. Theft at BNL High School. The caller says a juvenile took a phone out of a safe and made an unauthorized purchase on Amazon using her mother’s debit card and a wallet and keys were missing. The juvenile’s bag was checked at the school, but none of those items were found. The juvenile says the phone was in her room. The mother did not want to file charges

  • 10:57 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, south of the county line. The driver was traveling to Bloomington Hospital with a 2-year-old child
  • 11:44 a.m. A resident in the 80 block of Bossert Street reports a  battery that happened on Christmas Eve 
  • 12:01 p.m. Lift assist in the 130 block of Dale Street. A male was on the floor and needs assistance getting up
  • 12:07 p.m. 911 call at State Road 37 at the bypass
  • 12:57 p.m. Medical emergency in the 300 block of Sixth Street in Oolitic. A 64-year-old was ill
  • 1 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 54, just off State Road 37
  • 1:05 a.m. Alarm sounding at White River Baptist Church
  • 1:36 p.m. The School Resource Officer at Mitchell High School reported an incident of threats. A teen was released to their parents
  • 2:38 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a blue Sherwin Williams van at State Road 37 at the river bridge. The caller says the van is speeding at least 10 miles over the speed limit
  • 2:42 p.m. Controlled fire in the 600 block of Hickory Grove Road
  • 3:34 p.m. 911 call reporting a disabled vehicle at Mitchell Road at the overpass
  • 3:52 p.m. Document service at Goodman’s Recycling
  • 3:56 p.m. Report of a gas leak in the 150 block of Rager Road. Texas Gas was alerted
  • 3:56 p.m. Report of a medical emergency in the 1260 block of at Burton Cemetery
  • 4:58 p.m. Property damage accident on State Road 37 and US 50 West
  • 5:23 p.m. Traffic stop at Dixie Highway and State Road 37
  • 5:28 p.m. Medical emergency in the 300 block of Sixth Street in Oolitic. A male was very lethargic and going through alcohol withdrawals
  • 5:46 p.m. A resident in the 340 block of Larry Tincher Lane reported he received a package in the mail by mistake and he believes it contains drug and is requesting an officer
  • 5:49 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and State Road 54
  • 6:06 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1860 block of  WPA Road. A 73-year-old was ill
  • 6:27 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a white Ford Fusion at State Road 37, south of the Monroe County line
  • 6:27 p.m. Traffic stop at Old State Road 37 and Sieboldt Quarry Road
  • 6:37 p.m. Request for extra patrols in the 3500 block of Pinhook Road. The caller reported hearing people walking around their property at night
  • 6:49 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a red Chevrolet Tracker on US 50 East and Boyd Lane
  • 6:49 p.m. Request for officers to make extra patrols on US 50 East and Fairview Mundell Road because of an increase of aggressive drivers
  • 7:21 p.m. Disabled vehicle on 16th Street, east of Captain D’s
  • 8:13 p.m. Report of an unwanted people in the  5690 block of State Road 158. The caller says about 10 people are at his house on his roof and in his yard. He says one of the men is wearing a cowboy hat and has a long gun and is requesting an officer. When police arrived they found no one on the property. A friend came to stay with the male for the night
  • 8:29 p.m. Theft of a jacket and backpack in the 320 block of Bartlette Drive
  • 8:36 p.m. 911 call in the 760 block of Rocky Creek East. It was an accidental call
  • 8:40 p.m. Request for animal control at Tunnelton and Red Crane roads. He doesn’t want to file a report, but the deer is still alive
  • 8:43 p.m. A resident in the 1120 block of West Oak Street reported a previous landlord is taking her mail, opening it and reading it
  • 8:58 p.m. Domestic fight in the 100 block of Wells Lane. A 13-year-old male reported his grandmother slapped him in the face and choked him. Police spoke to all involved
  • 9:36 p.m. Medical emergency in the 4540 block of State Road 158. A 37-year-old had a dirt bike accident
  • 9:46 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 5690 block of State Road 158
  • 10:36 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Teke Burton Drive
  • 10:42 p.m. Report of three people running down the street with flashlights at West Vine and Second streets in Mitchell
  • 10:54 p.m. Medical emergency in the 5520 block of Old State Road 37
  • 11:11 p.m. Officers were out with two people at 11th and Crawford streets. There was no issue
  • 11:26 p.m. 911 call in the 2610 block of Avoca Eureka Road. A child was playing with the phone
  • 11:29 p.m. Domestic fight in the 210 block of Gas Line Road

  • 12:07 a.m. Officers were out with a disabled vehicle at State Road 37 north of the Needmore bridge
  • 12:58 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and 16th Street. The driver was issued a summons to appear in court for operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license
  • 3:11 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Springville Veterinary Service
  • 3:35 a.m. 911 call in the first block of Hillcrest Circle. Bedford Police were alerted
