(BEDFORD) – During the Board of Works meeting Tuesday afternoon the board approved the following promotions.
Bedford Police Department:
- Jesse Crane – promoted to Captain after he completed a 1-year probationary period.
- Detective Sgt. Kye Louden to Detective Captain. This is a probationary status with an evaluation in six months.
Bedford Fire Department:
- Firefighter 1st Class Jason Stigall to Fire Inspector 3rd Class. This is a probationary status with an evaluation in six months.
Approved the following police officers to permanent status:
- Officer Faheem Bade
- Officer Clay Blackburn
- Officer Toby Gerkin
- Officer Robert Looney
- Officer Max Meddings
- Officer Jarrett Tedrow
- Officer Max Uebelhoer
The Board of works also approved the hiring of police officers Shane Jarrett and Brent Thompkins. The hiring comes following the retirement of Detective Brandon Woodward, and the resignation of Police Officer Brittany Brenner.
