(UNDATED) – Snow and a wintery mix of snow and ice may move into the area later today and after the evening rush hour.
The wintery mix will move into Indiana anytime after 3 p.m.
The National Weather Service says this snow will begin to mix with sleet and freezing rain. Strong westerly winds may gust as high as 40 miles per hour to 45 miles per hour Saturday into Saturday evening.
The Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect from 7 p.m. tonight until 4 a.m. tomorrow.
Up to an inch of snow and ice could make for hazardous driving. Motorists are warned to drive with caution.
Overnight, the mix changes to rain as a warm front moves into Indiana.
