(BEDFORD) – A Bedford man was arrested after a report of a man sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot of the Dollar General Store injecting drugs.
When Bedford Police officers arrived they located 38-year-old Arthur Fields inside the vehicle.
“While speaking with Mr. Fields, K-9 Maximus was used to perform an exterior sniff of the vehicle,” says Chief Terry Moore. “Maximus gave a positive alert and during a search of the vehicle officers located paraphernalia, a syringe, and methamphetamine.”
Fields was arrested on charges of possession of meth, unlawful possession of a syringe, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
