  • 1:17 a.m. Officers were out with a person at Washington Avenue and Norton Lane. A 14-year-old male was issued a summons to appear in court on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol
  • 1:04 a.m. Traffic stop at 14th and L streets. A male driver was cited for not having his driver’s license in his possession.
  • 12:36 a.m. Officers were out with a vehicle at Wilson Park
  • 12:09 a.m. Report of shots fired in the 2500 block of I Street. A male was shooting a gun for the New Year.
  • 12:02 a.m. A resident reported a noise complaint in the 710 block of I Street
  • 12:01 a.m. An information report was taken on station

  • 2:45 p.m. Brandy Fields, 37, Bloomington, possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug, unlawful possession of a syringe, identity deception, providing false information, obstruction of justice

  • 8:45 a.m. Follow up investigation in the 5690 block of Bartlettsville Road
  • 9:09 a.m. Medical emergency in the 290 block of Northern Hills Drive. The caller says she went to pick up her friend and no one answered the door. Friends were able to finally make contact with the 77-year-old female
  • 9:37 a.m. 911 call from an unknown location
  • 10:09 a.m. Traffic stop at Wesley Chapel Road and US 50 West
  • 10:18 a.m. Follow up investigation in the 748 block of Trinton Circle
  • 10:41 a.m. Follow up investigation in the 1230 block of 13th Street
  • 11:35 a.m. Request for animal control to the 4410 block of Leesville Road. The caller says a large dog has been coming to their house every day and eating their cat’s food and tearing up stuff
  • 12:18 p.m. Controlled fire in the 4800 block of Huron Williams Road
  • 1:03 p.m. A caller in the 950 block of Trinton Circle reported the missing female from Oolitic is walking in front of his house right now with a male and are headed towards Sand Pit Road. Then at 1:19 p.m. A male called saying he has the male and female at his house. Police went to the 6300 block of Sand Pit Road and the teens were taken to the station. The female was arrested on runaway charges. The female was released to her mother and then transported to Meadows Hospital for an evaluation.
  • 1:09 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 920 block of Crawford Street. The caller says two men in their 50s are banging on his door asking for a stolen car. They are now driving around the block and parking outside of his house
  • 2:21 p.m. Emergency services were put on standby at the Orange County line
  • 2:23 p.m. Request for animal control a half a mile north of State Road 54 on Popcorn Road. There is a cow along the side of the road
  • 2:54 p.m. Warrant service in the 119 block of State Road 60 East. A female was arrested
  • 3:06 p.m. Medical emergency in the 910 block of Crawford Street. An 85-year-old female was having trouble breathing
  • 3:23 p.m. Medical emergency in the 500 block of Plum Street. A 90-year-old male is having trouble breathing
  • 3:27 p.m. Warrant service in the 130 block of Needmore East
  • 3:42 p.m. Controlled fire in the 670 block of Yockey Estates
  • 3:42 p.m. Request for animal control to Popcorn Church Road north of State Road 54 for a cow out 
  • 3:59 p.m. Report of theft in the 600 block of Leatherwood Road. Police say there was no theft of property, but lost property and the caller now has his property
  • 4:06 p.m. Report of mischief in the 310 block of Twin Bridges Road. A male has been driving his Camaro up and down the roadway doing donuts and hit the caller’s mailbox
  • 4:11 p.m. Traffic stop at Fifth and East Main streets in Mitchell. A citation was issued for a seatbelt violation
  • 4:21 p.m. 911 call reporting a brush fire at State Road 37 and State Road 158
  • 4:25 p.m. Medical alarm sounding in the 470 block of Sportsman Club Road
  • 4:34 p.m. 911 call in the 710 block of 27th Street. Bedford Police were alerted
  • 4:37 p.m. Request for animal control in the 130 block of Dale Street. The caller says a big brindle dog is running the neighborhood
  • 4:38 p.m. Agency assist at Mitchell Road and 25th Street
  • 4:42 p.m. A male came on station reporting he was having suicidal thoughts. An AMR ambulance responded
  • 2:47 p.m. 911 call reporting a battery on Prince Road, off East Guthrie Road. 
  • 4:55 p.m. Medical emergency in the 10 block of Maple Ridge Road. A 65-year-old male was having trouble breathing
  • 4:57 p.m. Warrant service in the 220 block of Rabbitsville Road
  • 5:08 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Stevens Lane
  • 5:16 p.m. Domestic fight in the 500 block of Plum Street
  • 5:54 p.m. Agency assist at State Road 60 East and VFW Road
  • 6:16 p.m. Warrant service in the 220 block of Rabbitsville Road
  • 6:12 p.m. Warrant service in the 5720 block of US 50 East. A male was arrested

  • 7:20 p.m. 911 call from an unknown location
  • 7:34 p.m. Citizen assist in the 370 block of Kentucky Hollow Road
  • 7:36 p.m. Report of the odor of gas in the 150 block of Rager Road. Texas Gas was sent to check the issue
  • 8:17 p.m. A person was at the Mitchell Police Department about a protective order
  • 9:03 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a grey Toyota hatchback westbound on US 50 East and State Road 446
  • 9:17 p.m. Agency assist in the 400 block of 16th Street
  • 9:33 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 310 block of Dean Street
  • 9:44 p.m. Agency assist in the 1200 block of West Brook Street. Police are looking for a runaway juvenile from Orange County. The juvenile was not there. At 9:47 p.m. officers went to a home in the 420 block of Old Buddha Road looking for the juvenile. The juvenile was not there
  • 9:54 p.m. Domestic dispute in the 1760 block of Hayes Road. The caller says her husband has gotten out of prison and started using drugs again and is at the house wanting the dog. The woman says she has filed from divorce. Police told the woman the home is still considered the male’s home too.  
  • 9:55 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 200 block of Silver Lane
  • 11:07 p.m. Request for animal control to the 1760 block of Hayes Road. The caller says her neighbor’s dog  tried to attack her. The owner put the dog in the garage
  • 11:28 p.m. Traffic stop at Mill Creek Road at the compact site
  • 10:53 p.m. Medical emergency at Mitchell Manor

  • 1:58 a.m. 911 call on State Road 37, north of the Judah junction. It was an accidental all
  • 2:12 a.m. Lift assist in the 100 block of Frank Street. A 95-year-old male fell
  • 3:06 a.m. 911 call in the 1850 block of Old State Road 60 West
  • 3:50 a.m. Medical emergency in the 410 block of North 7th Street. A 30-year-old was suffering stomach pain
