(BLOOMFIELD) – A Marshall man was killed in a two-vehicle accident on County Road 1000 West in Greene County.
According to a press release, the accident happened at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
Police say 71-year-old David Combs, of Marshall, was traveling south on 1000 W, in a Ford F-350. At the same time a Ford Transit van driven by 43-year-old Gina Scott, of Sullivan, was westbound on State Road 48.
Police say Combs failed to stop at a stop sign and Scott was unable to avoid the wreck. After the collision, both vehicles overturned and came to rest in a field.
Combs was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Scott suffered both back and leg injuries and was taken by helicopter to a hospital for treatment An unidentified passenger was taken to a hospital by Greene County Ambulance.
