(BEDFORD) – A Bedford teen is facing criminal charges after he gave a 12-year-old female a tattoo.
Bedford Police officers were called to an apartment at Ted Jones Drive after a parent of a 12-year-old female discovered her child had a tattoo and the mother wanted to pursue charges.
The girl told police that a 17-year-old male, who also lived in the apartment complex, had given her the tattoo.
“Officers spoke with the mother of the male juvenile and the accused and were told that a total of four female juveniles received tattoos from the 17-year-old,” says Chief Terry Moore.
Officers arrested the juvenile on four counts of tattooing a minor, and juvenile probation was contacted.
“The male juvenile was released back to his mother with a promise to appear date,” added Chief Moore.
