Washington Man Captured After Domestic Battery Call

(WASHINGTON) – A Washington man was arrested on Monday after Washington Police officers were called to a domestic fight at a Southwest Sixth Street home.

Officers arrested Lester Erb after he had allegedly been in a domestic incident at the residence.

Police claim Erb first tried to run from police but gave himself up after being pursued on foot near the Washington Nursing Center.

Erb was arrested on charges of domestic battery and criminal mischief and was transported to the Daviess County Security Center.
