  • 8:11 a.m. A person called to speak to animal control about some dogs and removing those dogs from the property
  • 8:12 a.m. Medical emergency in the 4170 block of South Leatherwood Road. A 72-year-old female was having trouble breathing
  • 8:34 a.m. Fire alarm sounding at Mitchell Junior High School. It was a false alarm
  • 8:45 a.m. Report of a possible impaired driver in a silver SUV with a child in the vehicle at Heltonville Elementary School. The officer took a female and two children home to the 240 block of Sonders Road
  • 8:45 a.m. Report of a protective order violation at Heltonville Elementary School. School officials request extra patrols
  • 9:13 a.m Request for animal control to the 1250 block of Dive Road. The caller is missing a male husky with blue eyes
  • 10:07 a.m. Request for animal control to 1000 block of Meridian Road for a cat in a trap. Two cats were taken to the White River Humane Society
  • 10:35 a.m. Traffic hazard at Patton Hill Road at the church. A deer was injured and needs put down
  • 11:59 a.m. Request for animal control to the 1600 block of Mount Pleasant Road for a stray coon hound. The dog was taken to the shelter
  • 12:48 p.m. Officers were out with a person at the courthouse
  • 1:10 p.m. Theft at Persimmon Park Apartments. Officers will make extra patrols

  • 1:18 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a silver Honda at State Road 37 and John Williams Boulevard. Bedford Police were alerted
  • 1:38 p.m. Request for animal control to the 140 block of Old School House Lane for four stray cats and a dog. The cats were taken to the shelter
  • 1:08 p.m. A person was on station to report the theft of a computer from the 8990 block of State Road 158
  • 2:12 p.m. Warrant service in the 1290 block of Stevens Lane. A male was arrested
  • 2:18 p.m. Report of a dead deer in the ditch in the 50 block of Patton Hill Road. County Highway was alerted
  • 2:22 p.m. Medical emergency pendant alarm in the 1510 block of Fourth Street. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded
  • 3:03 p.m. Burglary in the 360 block of South Leatherwood Road. A female reported a male stepped inside her home and started to rip out the wiring and now had barricaded himself in the home
  • 3:06 p.m. Request for animal control in the 2940 block of Old State Road 37. A white husky is tethered to a short lead and unable to reach its food or water or shelter. A note was left for the owners to fix the problem
  • 3:15 p.m. Investigation in the 220 block of West Grissom Avenue
  • 3:36 p.m. Medical emergency in the 10 block of Maple Ridge Road. A 65-year-old male was ill
  • 3:36 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 400 block of North Third Street

  • 4:53 p.m. Report that a female has walked away from her caregiver at Walmgrt. The female was located at 4:56 p.m. 
  • 4:54 p.m. Medical emergency at Arby’s. A 67-year-old was having a diabetic issue
  • 4:57 p.m. Request for animal control to the 290 block of Mundell Estates. The caller reported there were two pigs in her yard. The owners were told to get the pigs and if they got loose again they would receive a citation 
  • 5:07 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 70 block of Brick Street
  • 5:31 p.m. 911 call in the 1720 block of Saddler Drive. Bedford Police were alerted
  • 5:32 p.m. Medical emergency in the 130 block of West Main Street in Mitchell
  • 5:33 p.m. Medical emergency in the 800 block of Lafayette Avenue in Oolitic. A 43-year-old was unconscious
  • 5:46 p.m. Transport detail from IU Health Hospital to Maple Ridge Apartments
  • 5:47 p.m. Traffic stop at Doc Hamilton Boulevard, east of State Road 37
  • 5:57 p.m. Domestic fight in the 220 block of Main Street in Mitchell. The caller says a male came into the home with an ax and he has smacked her in the head and face. There was no visible sign of a battery and no weapons were found. Both parties refused to leave the home
  • 5:59 p.m. Medical emergency in the 2020 block of Plaza Drive. A female was unresponsive
  • 6:12 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a tan Chevrolet Tahoe at State Road 37 southbound at Ingram Road 
  • 6:59 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Mitchell
  • 7:15 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 800 block of Old State Road 450. The home was secure
  • 7:18 p.m. Report of the strong odor of gas at North Meridian Street and Grissom Avenue in Mitchell. Texas Gas was alerted
  • 7:30 p.m. 911 call from the 2620 block of Donica Church Road. It was an accidental call
  • 7:41 p.m. Traffic stop on State Road 37 at Thorne’s Homes
  • 8:15 p.m. Request for an officer to the 7420 block of Tunnelton Road. A 32-year-old female was unstable. She is threatening to kill herself. The woman’s counselor wants the female to be transported to Bloomington Hospital. The female refused treatment
  • 8:20 p.m. Request for animal control to the 510 block of West Frank Street. Someone has left a pet carrier with a mother cat and kittens on her front porch
  • 8:40 p.m. Report of a male in a blue Honda in the 30 block of Shawswick Station Road. A male took the vehicle from the 20 block of Shawswick Station Road and possible he is en route to Bloomington
  • 8:47 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Doc Hamilton Boulevard
  • 9:18 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 4000 block of Tunnelton Road
  • 9:28 p.m. A male in the 20 block of Shawswick Road reported his soon to be ex-wife is at his home and refusing to leave
  • 9:34 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 20 block of Shawswick Station Road. The male is leaving for the night
  • 10:17 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Woodville Road
  • 10:30 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 3960 block of State Road 37 at the Marathon station. The male is parked in a gray Ford and has a camo mask on his face and the person is changing his clothes in the car. Police found nothing suspicious
  • 11:07 p.m. Traffic stop at East Oolitic Road and Mason Street
  • 11:13 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 3650 block of Tunnelton Road at Unity Baptist Church. The caller says there has been an ongoing custody issue over her foster children and the parents have been causing issues. Officers say there was no issue
  • 11:48 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Sinclair station

  • 12:13 a.m. Report of a donkey and large black horse loose on Church Camp Road, west of South I Street. Police were unable to find the animals
  • 12:15 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 446 and Mundell Church Road
  • 12:20 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Woodville Road
  • 12:44 p.m. Agency assist with Indiana State Police at State Road 37 and Fifth Street
  • 2:59 a.m. Agency assist with Indiana State Police at State Road 37 and John Williams Boulevard
  • 3:38 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Gulletts Creek Church. There was a suspicious vehicle parked at the front door. The individuals were involved with the construction going on at the church. The truck has a false plate on it and expired registration
  • 4:06 a.m. 911 call at State Road 37 and Smithville Road. The caller was transferred to Monroe County
