Seymour Man Dies From Injuries Suffered in November Crash

(SEYMOUR) – A Seymour man who was injured in an accident in November died from those injuries on Thursday.

Police say 39-year-old Kenneth Miller was hospitalized on November 27th after a wreck on U.S. 50 near the Jackson/Jennings County line.

Four other people, including Miller’s wife, 42-year-old Jaime Miller, and her parents, Diane Jackson and Thomas Jackson, both 73, were also injured and hospitalized. All three were treated and later released.

Miller and his passengers were returning home from a swim meet at Madison High School when the 2019 Ford truck driven by Miller was hit head-on by a 2000 Ford Ranger being driven east by a 17-year-old female.

The 17-year-old female was injured and hospitalized at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Miller was trapped in the truck and had to be freed from the wreckage by firefighters.

He was taken to Schneck Medical Center in Seymour and then flown to the Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
