  • 12:41 p.m. Megan Tipton, 24, Indianapolis, wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke
  • 2:43 p.m. Sasha Blevins, 32, Paoli, wanted on a warrant for failure to appear
  • 6:53 p.m. Evan Banbibber, 33, Poland, In. driving while driver’s license suspended with a prior conviction
  • 9:10 p.m. Patrick Walls, 46, homeless, criminal trespass

Incidents – Nov. 25

  • 5:07 a.m. Medical emergency at the Lawrence County jail. A male fell and possibly broke his hip
  • 5:19 a.m. Theft in the 70 block of Graber Court. Somen is trying to seal his generator. There are five people on his property and maybe wearing red Christmas warping on them. The caller says he startled them and they fled
  • 7:06 a.m. An inmate was transported to IU Health Hospital
  • 7:13 a.m. Officers made extra patrols at Needmore Elementary
  • 7:36 a.m. Disable vehicle in the 700 block of Gasline Road
  • 7:38 a.m. Report of a small dead deer in the roadway on State Road 37 at Trogden Lane7:57 a.m. Fire in the 700 block of Lafayette Avenue. Someone was burning brush behind the home
  • 8:06 a.m. Animal bite in the 540 block of Hert Hollow Lane. The caller says his 9-year-old son was bitten by a dog. The boy lives in Louisville with his father and the father took him to a hospital there. The caller would like to make a report because the caller is afraid the owner of the dog will get rid of it.
  • 8:38 a.m. 911 call reporting a medical emergency in the 15520 block of Murry Road in Martin County. A person was suffering from chest pains. Martin County Sheriff’s Department was alerted 
  • 8:47 a.m. A female was on station to report her 12-year-old granddaughter was battered by her mother. Department of Child Services was alerted and investigated
  • 8:49 a.m. Medical emergency in the 520 block of South 8th Street. A 72-year-old was not feeling well
  • 9:08 a.m. Request for animal control in the 40 block of Russell Lane for a cat in a trap
  • 9:49 a.m. Request for officers to make extra patrols in the 4680 block of Dixie Highway after left from a vehicle
  • 10 a.m. Controlled fire in the 600 block of North Helton Road
  • 10 a.m. Medical emergency in the 9160 block of US 50 West. A 76-year-old fell
  • 10:11 a.m. A 14-year-old male was being treated at IU Health emergency room after a fight at BNL and the mother of the child is requesting to speak to an officer. Police were told the mother was threatening everyone at the school and was asked to leave
  • 11:46 a.m. Medical emergency in the 6790 block of US 50 East. A 72-year-old was ill
  • 12:55 p.m. Controlled fire in the 2300 block of Logan Donica Road 12:59 p.m. Request for animal control to the 7270 block of Tunnelton Road for an aggressive Great Dane
  • 1 p.m. Animal control requested to the 850 block of Gunsmith School Road for a cow in the roadway
  • 1:26 pm. Request for animal control to Popcorn Road just off State Road 54 for a cow in the roadway. Police found no animal in the roadway
  • 1:47p.m. A drug investigation in the 500 block of South Meridian Road
  • 1:47 p.m. Officers were out with a female at North 8th and West Main streets. The female was arrested
  • 1:57 p.m. Follow up investigation at Regions Banks
  • 2:43 p.m. A resident in the 620 block of Donica Church Road reported receiving threats and she wants it to end. She is tired of the two people coming on her property and making threatening phone calls and if they come on her property again she is going to shoot them
  • 3:05 p.m. Request for an officer to Dollens Elementary after a student/parent issue
  • 3:12 p.m. Request for animal control to the 2500 to 3500 block of Popcorn Road. The caller says they were riding their bicycle and were chased by an aggressive dog that tried to bite him
  • 3:33 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 170 block of Dale Street. A person was arrested
  • 3:42 p.m. EMS was placed on standby for Orange County
  • 3:56 p.m. Theft in the 810 block of Smith Avenue in Oolitic. The caller says someone has stolen her prescription medication
  • 3:59 p.m. Agency assist at State Road 450 near Jim Days for a possible fight in progress. Bedford and Indiana State Police were on the scene
  • 4 p.m. Wildland fire in the 1130 block of Erie Church Road
  • 4 p.m. Request for animal control to the 560 block of Reuter Lane. The caller says the neighbor’s German Shepherd attacked his chihuahua and killed it
  • 4:44 p.m. Request for animal control to the 450 block of Briarwood Lane. The caller says the neighbor’s dog is left outside on their back porch and barks all day and night. The dog is often without food and water and this has been going on for about two months 
  • 5:18 p.m. Controlled fire in the 140 block of Brian Lane5:30 p.m. A juvenile was transported to the Johnson County Juvenile detention Center
  • 5:33 p.m. 911 call in the 600 block of Lafayette Street in Oolitic. A small child was playing with the phone
  • 5:58 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in the 210 block of Brook Street
  • 6:11 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Thorne’s Homes
  • 6:12 p.m. A resident in the 1140 block of Spencer Pike Road was on station to report her 15-year-old daughter was bitten on the leg by the neighbor’s dog. The father is with the teen at the hospital where she is being treated
  •  6:21 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Dixie Highway
  • 6:22 p.m. A resident in the 710 block of Glendale Way reported they are receiving harassing phone calls. The caller was told to block the number
  • 6:44 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a green car in the 3210 block of Tunnelton Road 
  • 6:53 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Dixie Highway
  • 7:19 p.m. Traffic stop at Cindy Lane and Dixie Highway 
  • 7:25 p.m. Citizen assist in the 810 block of Smith Avenue over a custody dispute
  • 7:31 p.m. Disabled vehicle on State Road 37, south of the car dealerships
  • 7:39 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Rariden Hill Road
  • 7:57 p.m. 911 call hangup on Meridian Road. It was a verbal dispute but settled now
  • 8:19 p.m. 911 call in the 20 block of Ted Jones Drive.The caller says there is an older man that bangs on her door all hours of the day and night asking to pay her for sex. Bedford Police were alerted and will make extra patrols
  • 8:32 p.m. Warrant service in the 100 block of East Hancock Avenue. A person was arrested
  • 8:45 p.m. A woman reported her son was missing from the 60 block of Valley Mission Lane. She says she is currently out of state and that her son had gone for a walk yesterday and never returned
  • 8:58 p.m. Traffic stop on US 50 at Tabernacle of Praise Church
  • 9:40 p.m. Agency assist at State Road 37 and Hancock Avenue
  • 9:47 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 300 block of Indiana Avenue. A male is going through a custody dispute and the caller’s ex is making threats. 
  • 9:52 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 730 block of Graber Court
  • 11:35 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Main Street in Oolitic

Incidents – Nov. 26

  • 12:11 a.m. Agency assist with Indiana State Police at State Road 37 and 29th Street on a traffic stop 
  • 12:17 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 170 block of Airy Hills Drive in Springville. Greene County Sheriff’s Department reported a female may be being held against her will and maybe getting beaten by a male at the home. The female was not at the home. Greene County Sheriff’s Department was alerted
  • 2:03 a.m. Fire at the edge of the highway on Old State Road 37, north of Gullets Creek bridge. Smoke is causing a traffic hazard
