(MITCHELL) – An extensive expansion project that will add more than 1,200 square feet to Hoosier Hills Credit Union’s Mitchell Service Center should be completed in early 2020.
The busy service center’s membership has grown to more than 4,200 over the past three decades, and the renovation/addition will offer members more space and provide staff with a more effective work environment. The Mitchell Service Center opened in September 1989 and was last renovated in 2010.
The current expansion includes the addition of a pair of new offices, a conference room, a workroom, an employee lounge area, and a redesigned member waiting area. The plans also include a new teller supervisor’s office.
Once the new space is complete and related renovations are wrapped up, a smaller improvement phase will refresh the existing lobby space with new paint and other features to better tie it into the design scheme of the new portion, said Chief Retail Officer Andy Fish.
A date and other information on grand re-opening activities for the Service Center at 45 Teke Burton Dr. will be announced at a later time.
