  • 8:13 a.m. Request for a welfare check on South I Street before the bridge. There was a juvenile on a bicycle. Police were unable to locate the child
  • 8:16 a.m. Report that the sewer is stopped up and backing up in the caller’s backyard in the 1100 block of West Warren Street. The Mitchell Sewer Department was alerted

  • 8:34 a.m. Request for a welfare check on a resident in the 420 block of North 9th Street in Mitchell The couple has Alzheimer’s and he is concerned because he takes them to church every Sunday and has not heard from them. The couple was fine. Their phone was not working

  • 10:13 a.m. Request for animal control to the 1320 block of South Leatherwood Road. The caller says the neighbor’s dogs has attacked his dog again and this is the fourth time it has happened
  • 10:19 a.m. Request for animal control to the 40 block of BNL Drive for an injured cow in a field. The owner will check the animal
  • 10:35 a.m. 911 call hangup in the 400 block of West Oak Street. The caller says his wife took a drink and it went down the wrong way and she is coughing and he called 911 but his wife is fine and no assistance is needed
  • 10:51 a.m. Request for animal control in the 320 block of Bud Stipp Road for a cow in the road. A male was on scene fixing the fence where a deer ran through. He had the cow up

  • 3 p.m. Medical emergency in the 520 block of Skyline Drive. An 84-year-old female fell and is bleeding from her head.
  • 3:16 p.m. Child custody dispute in the 6120 block of US 50 East. The caller says her ex has been driving drunk with their children in the vehicle. She was told to contact Child Protective Services. She says she is going to meet him today at 4 p.m. at Farmers Market on US 50 and the male will be in a white 2006 Chevrolet Impala with three children. Police say the call was unfounded
  • 4:08 p.m. 911 call hangup at Premier Theater. Bedford Police were alerted
  • 4:29 p.m. Report of a suicidal 12-year-old in the 80 block of Farmer Street. The child had drunk fingernail polish remover. The child was taken to Meadows Hospital in Bloomington. The parents are attempting to get a protective order against the child’s cousin who is bullying their child
  • 4:40 p.m. Document service in the 500 block of Fifth Street in Mitchell
  • 6:53 p.m. Citizen assist in the 700 block of Woodhills Lane. The caller says her landlord kicked her out of her trailer in January and kept all of her stuff and she is on station requesting to speak to an officer. The woman was told this was a civil matter
  • 4:56 p.m. Report of an abandoned vehicle in the 500 block of West Frank Street. The vehicle was towed
  • 5 p.m. Countywide volunteer fire department weekly radio test
  • 5:58 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a silver Porsche northbound on State Road 37 from the Orange County line
  • 6:13 p.m. The caller reported his daughter received a message on Instagram from a 15-year-old male saying he was going to shoot himself. The male told the caller that he was at BNL. Then told the male he lives in Jessieville, Arkansas. The Garland County Sheriff’s Department in Arkansas was alerted and they are going to check on the male. Bedford Police checked the school roster and found a 17-ear-old male with the same name and contacted that male’s parents, but he does not match the physical description of the male who made the Instagram message. The caller phoned back with a phone number for the teen and Garland County Sheriff’s Department was given that number and are on their way to make a welfare check on the teen
  • 6:17 p.m. Report of a blue pickup truck parked in the middle of the road in the 190 block of Old Needmore School Road. Police say there was no vehicle blocking the roadway
  • 6:55 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 1160 block of Camelot Courts. The caller says he found a male on his back porch looking in his window and request extra patrols
  • 7:06 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a semi-truck pulling a tanker at State Road 54 at Avoca. They are now southbound on State Road 37
  • 7:19 p.m. Traffic stop at Tunnelton and Pinhook roads

  • 7:48 p.m. Domestic fight in the 20 block of Shawswick Station Road. The caller says her husband is out of control and breaking things. The male has been drinking all day and is now in the bedroom and she is in the laundry room. The female left the home for the night

  • 9:04 p.m. Report of an erratic driver westbound on Woods Lane from State Road 37 in a gray 4-door car
  • 9:48 p.m. 911 call in the 810 block of West Cherokee Drive. The female was requesting an ambulance for a possible overdose
  • 10:15 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a small black S-10 type truck turning into Johnny Junxions

  • 10:48 p.m. Citizen dispute at McDonald’s in Mitchell. The manager reported there was a dispute and a fight in the parking lot

  • 2:56 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Woodville Road
  • 3:17 a.m. Report of a suspicious person at the back of her property stuck. The caller says the driver a female seems confused and apologized for driving on her property and getting stuck. The female driver’s father-in-law arrived and transported her to the hospital. The vehicle was towed from the property
  • 3:21 a.m. Warrant service in the 2440 block of Harrodsburg Road. A male was arrested on a felony warrant
