  • 7:25 a.m. Traffic stop at North 9th and West Warren streets
  • 7:30 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Heltonville Elementary School
  • 8:15 a.m. Report of a suicidal 17-year-old female in the 390 block of Old Buddha Road. The female is with a neighbor and refusing to go to get help.
  • 8:23 a.m. Report of a suspicious female at Springville Judah Road near the veterinarian office. The female is in a gold SUV and parked along the roadway. The caller says the female is jumping in the woods and hiding when vehicles pass
  • 8:35 a.m. Request for animal control to the 750 block of Clark Smith Road for kittens that have been dumped
  • 8:47 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a brown truck eastbound from the bridge on State Road 158
  • 9:50 a.m. Controlled fire in the 180 block of Needmore Road
  • 10:32 a.m. Alarm sounding in the 1850 block of West Powerline Road
  • 10:35 a.m. Request for animal control to the 520 block of Blue Springs Cavern Road for a stray cat
  • 11:38 a.m. Request for animal control to the 6600 block of State Road 158. The dog has no shelter. Animal control says the dog has a doggy door to the garage
  • 11:59 a.m. Report of a dark-gray Ford Focus shining bright light at State Road 37 at the Avoca light
  • 12 p.m. A resident in the 20 block of Teke Burton Drive reported fraud and theft
  • 12:17 p.m. Officers went to a home in the 440 block of North 8th Street to transport a female from IU Health to Meadows in Bloomington
  • 12:37 p.m. A person was on station to speak to an officer about a letter they received. Evidence was released to the person
  • 12:59 p.m. A person at Shawswick Elementary School requested to speak to an officer
  • 1:19 p.m. Agency assist in the 540 block of Sportsman Club Road. Clarksville Police request an officer to attempt to locate a male at that home. The male was no home and a card was left to have him call Clarksville Police Department
  • 1:34 p.m. Document service in the 1210 block of L Street
  • 1:39 p.m. Theft in the 610 block of West Warren Street. The caller was told if they let someone borrow something it is not considered theft
  • 1:46 p.m. Traffic stop at 16th and H streets. A citation was issued for expired license plates
  • 1:59 p.m. 911 call in the 280 block of BNL Drive. It was an accidental call
  • 2:32 p.m. Report of a fire in the 4210 block of Stonington Road. The caller says her neighbor’s mobile home was on fire. Marion VFD responded and Mitchell VFD was put on standby. The home was fully involved. An AMR ambulance and Orange County REMC responded. Red Cross was also alerted.
  • 2:40 p.m. A male requested to speak to an officer about a child’s welfare and custody issues. The Department of Child Services is involved
  • 2:44 p.m. Request for animal control to the 220 block of Briarwood Lane for a stray cat
  • 2:55 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a child in the 600 block of 9th Street
  • 3:37 p.m. Report of a person suffering a mental issue in the 1300 block of K Street
  • 3:53 p.m. Request for animal control to the 130 block of Dale Street. The caller says she is trapped in a car by an aggressive pitbull
  • 4:18 p.m. A resident in the 1410 block of Deckard Drive reported the homeowner returned to find the front door unlocked and two female juveniles hiding under a table. The females then ran out of the door. Nothing seems to be missing, but the caller wants the information logged
  • 4:21 p.m. Officers requested to make extra patrols in the 1410 block of Deckard Drive due to two juvenile females found in his home earlier today
  • 4:32 p.m. 911 call hang up in the 2000 block of Fayetteville Williams Road. It was an accidental call
  • 4:46 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 490 block of Helmar Drive
  • 5:07 p.m. Battery in the 530 block of East Oolitic Road. The caller is a 12-year-old child reporting her little brother threw a roll of duct tape at her elbow and now she thinks her arm is broken because she can’t move it. Police spoke to the grandfather and father who say the juvenile if fine and only has a small red mark on her arm
  • 4:42 p.m. Traffic stop in the 3240 block of Dixie Highway
  • 4:50 p.m. Agency assist in the 50 block of Maddox Lane with the Department of Child Services
  • 5:24 p.m. Warrant service in the 100 block of Park Lane in Oolitic
  • 5:31 p.m. Report of vandalism in the 2850 block of Old State Road 37 North. A vehicle recently purchased from Superior Auto was picked up today by Mikels and the vehicle was found with the windows down, hood up and wires in the engine cut and the battery missing. The caller believes something “fishy” is going on
  • 5:38 p.m. Report of an erratic driver on State Road 37 southbound from Judah
  • 5:46 p.m. Report of a dark-colored car driving without headlights at westbound on State Road 54 at Ryan Lane
  • 5:58 p.m. Report of an unwanted male in the 210 block of Second Street in Mitchell. The male has left the home
  • 6:18 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1410 block of 19th Street. A 44-year-old female was having trouble breathing. The female is unresponsive and the caller believes the female may have taken drugs
  • 6:32 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 30 block of Trogdon Lane. The caller says her male friend has been posting suicidal statements on Facebook
  • 6:39 pm. A resident in the 380 block of Tarry Park Road reported a lost or stolen license plate
  • 6:50 p.m. 911 call from the Kenray Lake area. It was an accidental call
  • 6:52 p.m. 911 call from an unknown location
  • 6:59 p.m. Medical emergency at Mitchell Manor. A 69-year-old was having stomach pains
  • 7:14 p.m. Domestic fight in the 100 block of South 8th Street. There was a verbal fight between an adult and a juvenile. The adult left in a white Mustang. The juvenile left and then returned. An officer took the juvenile to the Mitchell Police Department. The fight was between the juvenile and a parent
  • 7:16 p.m. Brush fire in the 3940 block of Coveyville Road. Pleasant Run VFD responded
  • 7:43 p.m. Warrant service at Core Nursing Home. The warrant was serviced and evidence collected
  • 8:02 p.m. Medical emergency in the 4280 block of US 50 East. An elderly female was unconscious
  • 8:14 p.m Request for a welfare check on a 13-year-old female in the 150 block of Huron Williams Road. The female has brought up sexual abuse happening with her mother’s boyfriend. Orleans Police Department and the Department of Child Services has been alerted and believes the teen is staying with her grandparents on Huron Williams Road and just simply wants to make sure the teen is safe
    and there is a no-contact order against the male

  • 9:46 p.m. Report of unsafe shooting in the 500 block of Clark Smith Road
  • 10:01 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 420 block of East Frank Street. A male is outside of her house and cursing her
  • 10:04 p.m. Medical emergency in the 780 block of Judah Logan Road. A person is having stomach pain
  • 10:11 p.m. Domestic fight in the 420 block of West Oak Street
  • 10:12 p.m. Domestic fight in the 3180 block of Maul Ridge Road. The caller says there are multiple people on her property that she does not want there. Some were to be there to get their items but not the rest. The caller says the people are yelling and screaming. The male got his belonging and left
  • 10:49 p.m. Domestic fight in the 420 block of West Oak Street. The caller says her husband is breaking things in the home. The male says he will stay away from the female for the rest of the night
  • 11:04 p.m. Juvenile problem in the 360 block of East Oolitic Road. The caller says her nephew is screaming and being disrespectful towards her

  • 12:03 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1900 block of West Powerline Road. A 65-year-old was ill
  • 12:51 a.m. Medical emergency in the 450 block of Dale Street. A 63-year-old was suffering heart issues
  • 3:54 a.m. Officers went to the 530 block of Patton Hill Road to make a death notification. The notification was made

Accidents – Nov. 20

  • 6:34 a.m. Car/deer accident at Sieboldt Quarry Road at the entrance of the camp
  • 5:17 p.m. Car/deer accident in the 8910 block of US 50 East
  • 10:57 p.m. Accident with possible injuries at Patton Hill Road, east of Teddy Bird Lane. The accident was a fatal accident. The road was shut down at Patton Hill Road from Teddy Bird Lane to Woodcliff Way. IU Health, Oolitic VFD and Bedford Fire Department responded to the scene
