Lawrence County Republican Central Committee to Hold Special Caucus to Fill Vacancy on County Council

(BEDFORD) – The Lawrence County Republican Central Committee will hold a special caucus Tuesday, December 17th to fill the vacancy of County Council District #4 created by the resignation of Sam Craig effective December 31, 2019.

The caucus will be at 6 p.m. at 94 Stone City Drive, in Bedford, at the Stone City FOP Lodge #94.

Interested republican candidates in good standing must file a notarized declaration of candidacy (State Form CEB-5 found on the Secretary of State website at http://www.in.gov/sos/ and at the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office) and submit a letter of interest to Chairman Chris May no later than 72 hours before the caucus.

Candidacy forms may be notarized at the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office. No candidacy forms will be accepted after the deadline.
