(BEDFORD) – A celebration to congratulate and send well wishes to outgoing Mayor Shawna Girgis, and City Council members including Byron Buker, Adele Bowden Purlee, Mark Scherschel, Bill Mcfadden, and Michele Murphy will be held on December 10th.
Plans are to conduct the City Council meeting at 6 p.m. and then the celebration will follow at the Milwaukee Depot.
More information will be announced as formal plans are put together at a later date.
City Council member Mark Scherschel’s birthday is also December 10th. Scherschel’s first December City Council meeting fell on his birthday, and his last city council meeting will be on his birthday.
