(BEDFORD) – The “No Room In The Inn” Fundraiser is underway at Becky’s Place. The goal is to have 25 churches reach 25 families and contribute $25 by December 25, 2019.
Becky’s Place is designed “to provide shelter and create hope” for women and children who are experiencing homelessness and moving towards a life of self- sufficiency.
Becky’s Place provides shelter, meals, Case Management, Support Services, Counseling, Educational Resources, Vocational Training, Life Skills, with a compassionate and dedicated staff and volunteers.
The goal is for each resident to obtain permanent housing as quickly as possible. Each resident works with a case manager to develop a life plan and must commit to seeking employment and more permanent housing.
Anyone can get involved with financial support, material donations, serving on the advisory board, volunteering for projects, or as a staff member and through prayer.
The next upcoming event is the “ Run For Hope” 5K Family Fun Walk Thanksgiving Day at the Downtown Bedford Harp Commons Starting at 9:30 a.m.
