  • 7:02 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 58 at the Greene County line
  • 7:05 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Needmore Elementary School

  • 7:31 a.m. Request for animal control for a stray husky in the 79 block of Robin Hood Lane. The dog was taken to the shelter
  • 7:33 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Storage Express
  • 8:18 a.m. Theft in the 1910 block of Rabbitsville Road. Someone had broke into the caller’s truck overnight
  • 8:23 a.m. A person was on station to speak to an officer about a sex offense. Police responded to IU Health Hospital
  • 8:33 a.m. Traffic stop at Stars Boulevard and State Road 58 East
  • 9:40 a.m. 911 call from an unknown location. It was an accidental dial
  • 10:02 a.m. Medical emergency in the 50 block of Airy Hills Lane. A 36-year-old female need transported to the hospital due to a stomach infection that was found
  • 10:24 a.m. theft of a scooter and other items in the 580 block of Burton Lane
  • 10:27 a.m. Juvenile property in the 1150 block of Tripleton Pike Road. A 16-year-old was out of control. The parties involved were separated. The juvenile was released to his father
  • 10:47 a.m. Controlled fire in the 480 block of Country Estates
  • 12:06 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 5690 block of State Road 148. It was a false alarm
  • 12:24 p.m. Report of a dead deer in the middle of he road on State Road 60 West in the area of Porter Burton Road. When police arrived someone had moved it out of the roadway
  • 12:32 p.m. Request for animal control to the corner of Tresler Street and Heartland Street for a pitbull tied up and unable to get into his dog house. The dogs there have no food or water. The dogs were removed by animal control and taken to the White River Humane Society
  • 1:38 p.m. A person called wanted to speak to an officer about a possible attempted murder. Police called the woman back but there was no answer and they left a message. An officer spoke to the woman and she says she believes some sort of spell has been cast on her and wanted to file a report for attempted murder by witchcraft in which she is the victim. She says the incident started in April of 2018 and it happened in a trailer park just off State Road 37 across from Arby’s in Bedford. The woman was told to contact Bedford Police since the incident happened in the city limits.
  • 2:07 p.m. Theft in the 540 block of Rabbitsville Road. Someone entered his unlocked car and stole some jewelry
  • 2:11 p.m. Report of two pieces of metal laying in the roadway on State Road 37 at Springville Judah Road
  • 2:43 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 2210 block of Sherwood Road
  • 2:52 p.m. 911 call at Mitchell High School in the parking lot. It was an accidental call
  • 2:55 p.m. Follow up investigation at Huckleberry’s
  • 2:57 p.m. Follow up investigation at Dollar General Store
  • 3:12 p.m. Request for animal control to the 6840 block of State Road 158 for a collie-type dog that showed up at the caller’s home. The dog appears ill and foaming at the mouth
  • 3:14 p.m. Follow up investigation at Mutual Bank
  • 3:44 p.m. Theft of a wallet from a vehicle in the 1250 block of Yockey Road
  • 3:46 p.m. Child Protective Services request a welfare check in the 1530 block of Rabbitsville Road. They have attempted several times to check on the children. But no one will answer the door
  • 3:56 p.m. Request for animal control to the 320 block of Locus Road. The caller says a dog attacked her dog and injured it
  • 4:18 p.m. 911 call hang up at Hatfield Elementary School parking lot. It was an accidental call
  • 4:24 p.m. Agency assist in the 450 block of East Vine Street
  • 4:35 p.m. Controlled fire in the 1340 block of Beaver Creek Road
  • 4:37 p.m. 911 call in the 410 block of Lafayette Avenue. It was a pocket dial
  • 4:42 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 20 block of State Road 58 East
  • 4:58 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 1250 block of Yockey Road after a report of thefts from vehicles
  • 5:19 p.m. Controlled fire in the 480 block of Duncan Bend Lane
  • 5:26 p.m. A lawn mower was on fire in the 1050 block of Pleasant Run Road. The fire was out now but the lawn mower is still popping and cracking
  • 5:30 p.m. Information report in the 1540 block of State Road 60 west. A woman is sending a male messages to him in regards to the upcoming election. He has saved all the messages
  • 6 p.m. Traffic stop at 10th and Orchard streets. The driver was cited for driving while driver’s license suspended
  • 6:09 p.m. Vandalism to a building in the 89- block of West Frank Street at the Dana PTG building. The windows had been broken out and there were tools possibly stolen and is requesting an officer. Officers will make extra patrols
  • 6:21 p.m. Follow up investigation at Terry’s service station. A female was given a courtesy ride to her home
  • 6:24 p.m. Report of a dead deer in the roadway in the southbound lane in the 7800 block of State Road 446
  • 6:52 p.m. Medical emergency at Persimmon Park Apartments. The caller set off their emergency pendant. A 48-year-old woman was complaining of chest pains
  • 6:53 p.m. Officers were out with a person in the 1380 block of US 50 East. The person was given a courtesy ride to the 270 block of Woody Farm Road
  • 6:59 p.m. Police made extra patrols at Pride Estates
  • 7:05 p.m. Agency assist with Bedford Police on a traffic stop at Mitchell and Sand Pit Roads
  • 7:31 p.m. Disabled vehicle in the 1290 block of US 50 East
  • 8:01 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 3790 block of Tunnelton Road. The caller says she is hearing voices at the front of her home and there were two males near their vehicle and her husband scared them off. They left walking northbound towards Robin Hood Estates
  • 8:05 p.m. Traffic stop at Stars Boulevard and BNL Drive
  • 8:24 p.m. Traffic stop at North 8th Street and West Warren Street
  • 8:44 p.m. Traffic stop at McDonald’s at State Road 37

  • 12:38 a.m. 911 call from an elderly male resident at Mitchell Manor. Mitchell Manor staff was alerted
  • 12:54 a.m. Officers were out with a vehicle at State Road 37 south of the Oolitic light
  • 2:53 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 58 East and Corrie Lane
  • 3:58 a.m. Distress Alarm sounding in the 100 block of Industrial Parkway

Accidents – Nov. 4

  • 7:21 a.m. Property damage accident at Ozee Farm Road at Little Salt Creek Run. A vehicle was over the embankment
  • 7:31 a.m. Car/deer accident at State Road 58 and State Road 446
  • 11:20 a.m. Property damage accident at the Food Bank across from Terry’s service station
  • 6:44 p.m. 911 call reporting a car/deer accident on State Road 37.
  • 7:07 p.m. 811 call at Illinois and 29th streets. The caller reported she was in an accident with no injuries
