Three Arrested In Paoli For Drug Charges

( PAOLI) – On October 17th, 2019, at approximately 8 PM, Officers with the Paoli Police Department, assisted by Orange County Sheriff’s Deputies, executed a search warrant at 217 NW 4th St in Paoli.

The focus of this investigation was the distribution and use of methamphetamine by the subjects who live there.

This case was initiated after a tip from a concerned citizen.


Upon entry, officers encountered two men. Both were detained while officers conducted the search.

Richard “Rick” Jackey
(63, Paoli) Dealing Methamphetamine,
Level 2 Felony
Possession of Methamphetamine,
Level 4 Felony
Maintaining a Common Nuisance,
Level 6 Felony

This search yielded nearly 28 grams of methamphetamine, a methamphetamine loaded hypodermic needle, many
items used to package illicit drugs, and a handwritten ledger which documented monetary transactions.

Possession of Methamphetamine
Level 4 Felony
Unlawful Possession of Syringe
Level 6 Felony


Both men were arrested and transported to the Orange County Jail. A female, who also lives in the residence, was located at her place of employment and subsequently arrested.

Five animals were seized from the residence and taken to the Orange County Humane Society.


Once again, these arrests stand to reflect the Paoli Police Department’s strong commitment to bringing justice to those who distribute these dangerous drugs in our town and to our citizens. We are and will remain determined to disrupt the sale of methamphetamine and other dangerous drugs within the Town of Paoli.

illegal drug offenses within Paoli and throughout Orange County.
