(SALEM) – The Washington County Sheriff’s Department is continuing to investigate a credit card skimmer, which was found inside of a gas pump in Washington County.
“We have reached a point in our investigation where we can release the location. The skimmer was located at the Marathon Station in Hardinsburg,” stated the Washington County Sheriff.
If you use a credit or debit card to purchase gas, you should check your account on a regular basis and report any unauthorized charges immediately to your bank and local law enforcement.
