(JASPER) – The Dubois County Art Guild artwork at the Jasper City Mill in Jasper, IN will exchange on October 24, 2019.
The DCAG Gallery Walk exhibit changes every 6 months. The public is invited to a free reception at the Jasper City Mill on Sunday, October, 27, from 1 – 3 p.m. for the new exhibit.
Barbara McCullough of Jasper, IN is the featured artist for this time period. She is a past classroom teacher as well as an accomplished artist. She spent 23 years teaching art at the Southwest Dubois County Schools.
Barbara is a plein air painter as well as a studio artist. She is actively painting outdoors several days every month. “I am continually on an inspirational journey searching for interest, color, and light. I always strive to form an emotional bridge between the subject and my viewer. I am reminded of the words of the famous American painter, Edward Hopper, ‘If I could say it in words, there would be no reason to paint.’”
