Bloomington Man Sentenced to Prison for Dealing Meth

(BEDFORD) – Bloomington man sentenced to five years in jail for dealing meth.

Kristian B. Korthouse, 47, of Bloomington, was arrested on Feb. 1, 2019, after a warrant was issued for his arrest for dealing and possession of meth.

On August 26th, Korthouse pleaded guilty to Count I, dealing meth a Level 3 Felony.

Today, Superior Court II Judge William Sleva sentenced Korthouse to 8 years in prison. He will 5 years behind bars with two years suspended. He will serve one year on home detention. He will also serve two years on probation to begin upon release with the following special terms he will not use alcohol or illegal drugs; he is subject to screens; he will participate in the Adapt program and will provide proof of a High School Equivalency diploma.

He was given credit for 212 days served and was fined $685.
