Police Identify Body Found in Morgan County

(MORGAN CO.) – Police have identified the body that was found in Morgan County last week.

Morgan County Sheriff Richard Myers says the body of 23-year-old Alexander Dashiell Jackson, of Indianapolis, was found on Friday, Sept. 13 on Mann Road.

Deputies were alerted to the remains after a woman found the body while walking their dog.

Police say Mann Road is a busy road connecting northern Morgan County and the Indianapolis southwest side.

Police say Jackson had been dead for about a week, and his body was badly decomposed.

Police had appealed to the public for help identifying the body and released photos of a t-shirt and earrings Jackson was wearing.

Now investigators are attempting to piece together what happened to Jackson.
