(SULLIVAN) – A 14-year-old Sullivan Middle School student is facing charges after he told other students he was bringing a gun to the football game on Thursday.
According to Indiana State Police, the teen made an allegation to other students that someone was coming to the game with a gun.
Police investigated and evacuated the football field and found that the student did not have a gun.
During the investigation, police learned the boy told others that his father was coming to the school with a gun.
The student was arrested on Friday on charges of intimidation and disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Southwest Indiana Regional Youth Village in Vincennes.
