  • 10:15 p.m. Gabrial Drake, 42, Paoli, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of marijuana

Incidents – Sept. 5

  • 5:48 a.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 5000 block of Old Farm Road. A male is walking northbound and pulling a red wagon. The person was walking to Washington and was given directors. There was no problem
  • 5:55 a.m. Request for extra patrols in the 190 block of Trinton Circle for someone moved a chair on the porch under a window and hearing loud noises in the area
  • 7:09 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Springville Elementary
  • 7:41 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Needmore Elementary
  • 7:58 a.m. Request for a welfare check on State Road 158, east of Crane. A 10 or 12-year-old girl is walking along the roadway. The juvenile was given a ride to Fayetteville Elementary
  • 8:41 a.m. Request for animal control to the 420 block of Mystic Lake Road for a stray pit bull. The dog was taken to the shelter and is on a 10-day hold after biting the animal control officer
  • 9:21 a.m. Report of a deer stuck in a fence in the 250 block of Anderson Road. A deer was stuck in a fence. The deer was put down
  • 9:39 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1610 block of Windwood Driver. A female had fallen and hit her head
  • 10:09 a.m. 911 call near the 2860 block of Rariden Hill Road. It was a pocket dial
  • 10:54 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 north of Salt Creek bridge
  • 11:35 a.m. Report of vandalism in the 1040 block of Old US 50 East. Someone had cut the wrap off several round bales
  • 11:38 a.m. Controlled fire in the 3350 block of Mundy Lane
  • 11:57 a.m. Request for animal control to the 820 block of Trinton Circle for a stray cat under the caller’s house. A dog and cat were taken to the shelter
  • 12 p.m. Report of someone sideswiping three mailboxes in the 2090 block of Spice Valley Road
  • 12:01 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 2120 block of Dixie Highway
  • 12:06 p.m. Citizen assist at Doc Hamilton Drive. The caller is having issues with his daughter. The daughter calmed down and is going with her mother to a a rehabilitation facility
  • 12:53 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 54 off State Road 37
  • 1:05 p.m. Medical emergency in the 10 block of Guthrie Road. A 54-year-old was having trouble breathing
  • 1:25 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 60 block of Glory Lane on a dog bite
  • 1:58 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 500 block of Gilbert Drive
  • 3:03 p.m. A semi driver reported he was stuck on the railroad tracks at Beaver Creek Road and US 50 West
  • 3:20 p.m. A resident in the 200 block of East Hancock Avenue found a Playstation 4 in their yard and a syringe
  • 3:29 p.m. A resident in the 470 block of Patton Hill Road reported their neighbors are threatening her and using vulgar language towards her. The caller says this is an ongoing issue. Police spoke to all involved and told them to stay away from each other
  • 3:34 p.m. A resident request to speak to an officer about their neighbor in the 520 block of Patton Hill Road harassing him
  • 3:38 p.m. A female was on station to report the theft of jewelry in the 4140 block of Erie Church Road
  • 4:13 p.m. Report of possible alcohol poisoning in the 1330 block of I Street. An AMR ambulance responded
  • 4:20 p.m. A resident in the 210 block of West Brook Street request to speak to an officer regarding a lawnmower that was given to him as collateral and the caller no longer wants the lawnmower on his property and wants to know what he can legally do regarding the lawnmower
  • 4:21 p.m. 911 call in the 70 block of Shawswick School Road. It was an accidental call
  • 4:27 p.m. A person was on station to report a male trespassing at the Perry Volunteer Fire Department on Brick Street
  • 4:41 p.m. Medical emergency in a vehicle in the 1210 block of 13th Street. Two people were found passed out in the vehicle
  • 5:07 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 1990 block of State Road 58 West. There was no issue
  • 5:39 p.m. 911 call in the 530 block of Sugar Hill Addition. Police were unable to make contact with the caller
  • 6:02 p.m. Medical emergency in the 700 block of Walnut Street in Oolitic
  • 6:24 p.m. Report of a possible overdose at the jail. A dose of Narcan was administered. An AMR ambulance responded and the inmate was transported to a local hospital
  • 6:30 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 350 block of Cobb Lane
  • 6:33 p.m. Traffic stop in the Mitchell Junior High School parking lot. A citation was issued for an expired license plate
  • 7:03 p.m. Request for animal control to the 930 block of Trinton Circle. The caller says the neighbor’s pit bulls are running loose and got into her trash. The dogs are charging at the caller’s husband
  • 7:09 p.m. Domestic fight in the 1860 block of Buddha Bypass. The caller says he and his father were arguing when his father grabbed a fork and put it to his throat threatening him. The caller says his father is not thinking normally at this time. Police spoke to all involved
  • 7:20 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Arby’s. A citation was issued for expired license plate
  • 8:13 p.m. Traffic stop in the 1480 block of West Main Street in Mitchell. The driver was issued a citation for driving while driver’s license suspended
  • 8:44 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 350 block of Cobb Lane
  • 9:10 p.m. A female was on station to report trespassing in the 740 block of Thompson Lane
  • 9:15 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in an older model Ford pickup southbound on State Road 37 from Monroe County. The caller says the male driver almost hit multiple vehicles while turning into Johnny Junxions, made several laps around the building with his hand out the window flipping people off and then continued southbound on State Road 37
  • 9:21 p.m. 911 call at Hancock Avenue and Teke Burton Drive. It was an accidental call
  • 9:25 p.m. A caller in the 1070 block of Sunny Acres Drive reported her son was suicidal
  • 9:28 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a flatbed semi southbound on State Road 37 at Rariden Hill. The driver weaving in and out of the lanes and hitting construction barrels. Police followed the truck and saw no erratic driving
  • 9:36 p.m. Officers were out with a vehicle across from Speedway
  • 10:20 p.m. 911 call in the 150 block of Pleasant View Drive. It was an accidental call
  • 10:35 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a white truck possibly intoxicated westbound on Seiboldt Quarry Road
  • 10:51 p.m. Medical emergency in the 2620 block of Industrial Park Drive. A male was suffering a psychotic issues
  • 11:09 p.m. 911 call in the 490 block of Wallner Quarry Road. It was an accidental dial
  • 11:17 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1130 block of Hamilton Courts. A female is attempting suicide by overdose and is cutting herself

  • 12:10 a.m. Alarm sounding at the Mitchell Library
  • 12:15 a.m. Report of an abandoned vehicle in the middle of the road on Stonington Road and State Road 60. The vehicle was towed
  • 12:24 a.m. Officers were out with a vehicle on Rier Road. A female was arrested
  • 12:58 a.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 610 block of West Warren Street. The caller says a female called them saying someone was inside her home. But now says there was someone on the porch. Police say the woman was intoxicated and there was no issue
  • 1:41 a.m. Report of possible drug activity in the 610 block of West Warren Street. The caller says a male was bring meth to her house and requested to speak to an officer
  • 2:58 a.m. Request for a welfare check on a person who was at the caller’s house in the 510 block of North Jackson Street and freaked out. The caller says their friend suddenly jumped up and said. “They are trying to kill me.” and jumped out the window of the home and ran in the director of GM Powertrain. The male was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans with no shoes. The caller says drugs could be a factor in the male’s behavior. Police checked the area and were unable to locate the male
  • 3:26 a.m. Officers were out with a person at S and 8th streets
  • 3:51 a.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle on Peerless Roads in the bottoms

  • 7:46 a.m. Property damage accident at State Road 37 and South 9th Street in Mitchell
  • 12:41 p.m. Property damage accident at Meridian Road and Dayson Street
  • 8:51 p.m. Property damage accident at South Seventh Street and Mississippi Avenue. A person was arrested
