  • 8:51 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 310 block of North Jackson Road. the caller says their neighbor is lying beside his truck and has been there for more than a half-hour. The call yelled at her neighbor and he says he is fine
  • 10:23 a.m. Citizen dispute in the 160 block of Dale Street. The caller says their neighbor put their couch in their front yard and is requesting to speak to an officer
  • 10:36 a.m. Traffic stop in the 5060 block of Sand Pit Road
  • 10:43 a.m. Medical emergency in the 450 block of East Vine Street. A 70-year-old was having trouble breathing

  • 12:06 p.m. Medical emergency in the 470 block of East Grissom Road. A 95-year-old was ill

  • 2:34 p.m. Warrant service in the 270 block of Sams Road. A female was arrested
  • 2:40 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 3270 block of Port Williams Road. It was a false alarm
  • 3:26 p.m. Controlled fire in the 1990 block of Harrodsburg Road
  • 3:59 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a dark-colored Ford Explorer at US 50 East and Brown Station Road
  • 4:01 p.m. Report of an abandoned moped in the 1550 block of Payton Road
  • 4:51 p.m. Report of an abandoned vehicle in the 40 block of Herd Lane. The vehicle has been on the male’s property for four months and wants it removed
  • 5:45 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 670 block of Middle Leesville Road. A male reported his father assaulted him and threw something at him and attempted to hit him with that object
  • 5:49 p.m. Burglary alarm sounding in the 4590 block of State Road 37. It was a false alarm
  • 6:37 p.m. Report of an intoxicated male at Rulers Food in Mitchell. The caller says a male on a moped crashed once and the caller is trying to get him to stop, but he continued down Main Street. Police were unable to located the male
  • 6:44 p.m. A male in the 3980 block of Mr. C’s says he drivers for Cosner Ice and is to make a delivery at Mr. C’s and is afraid another male is waiting there to start a fight
  • 6:45 p.m. Verbal dispute between neighbors in the 140 block of State Road 158. The caller says her neighbor was riding his 4-wheeler on their property while they were having a birthday party and they asked him to stop and there was no dispute at that time, but now he is sitting on his front porch and yelling profanities at people driving away from the party and pointed a handgun at two of those vehicles and stated “he wasn’t afraid and had nothing to lose” The caller is requesting an officer to speak to her neighbor
  • 7:41 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 1040 block of State Road 158
  • 7:20 p.m. A resident in the 270 block of Sadie lane reported the paper tags on his truck that he just purchased on Friday have been stolen or lost
  • 7:28 p.m. Report of two small children, ages 6 and 8, are riding up and down the road on a 4-wheeler at a high rate of speed in the 170 block of Knotting Hill and he is concerned for their safety
  • 8:23 p.m. 911 call reporting an adult male is in the caller’s 9-year-old son’s face yelling at him
  • 8:24 p.m. Follow up investigation at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital
  • 8:55 p.m. A female was on station about her 19-year-old son who is having some psychotic issues and believes he has a gun illegally and is living in the 8240 block of State Road 54 West.
  • 8:58 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a female in the 2030 block of Pleasant Run Road.
  • 9:03 p.m. A resident in the 610 block of West Warren Street wants someone in her home removed, but was too intoxicated to speak to police about the issue
  • 9:19 p.m. Officers made extra patrols at the old Heltonville School because of vandalism inside the building
  • 9:29 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 500 block of Old Needmore School Road. An employee went out on a break around 7 p.m. and didn’t come back into the building, Her car is still in the parking lot, but her purse is missing. The manager says the female didn’t say she was leaving or quitting. The manager is concerned because the female showed up at work with bruises and a black eye and this is not the first time this has happened. Police spoke to the female’s husband who says he picked her up from work because she was not getting along with her manager and took her to her uncle’s house. Police spoke to the female who says she was okay and did quit her job. She was told to let her manager know
  • 10:10 p.m. Officers were out with a male walking along State Road 37 and Fifth Street. The male was given a ride to the Judah exit
  • 10:30 p.m. A resident in the 560 block of Harold Smith Road believes someone is inside her home. When she arrived home there were lights on and none on when she left and she heard someone whispering. It could be her sister who has broken into her house before and stole items. Police say there was no sign of anyone being in the home
  • 10:43 p.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 at the Harrodsburg exit
  • 10:45 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and State Road
  • 10:55 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and State Road 58 East
  • 11:05 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Crest Motel. A summons to appear in court was issued to a male for driving while driver’s license suspended with a prior conviction

  • 12:23 a.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 400 block of West Grissom Avenue
  • 1:46 a.m. Officers made extra patrols at Mitchell City Park
  • 3:04 a.m. Citizen dispute in the 910 block of Thompson Lane. A male is shining lights into a house and threatening the caller with a gun. The caller says the male’s dogs were in his yard and he fired off a warning shot
  • 4:48 a.m. Report of male making threats and unsafe shooting in the 910 block of Thompson Lane

Accidents – Sept. 2

  • 3:28 p.m. Accident with possible injuries at State Road 60 East and Lawrenceport Road. A tractor-trailer lost control and turned on its side
  • 9:21 p.m. Property damage accident with a vehicle leaving the scene in the 1200 block of Trogdon Lane
