(SPRINGVILLE) – One person was hurt in a two-vehicle accident on State Road 54 at Brick Street in Springville Saturday morning.
According to a Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department report, 24-year-old Tanner Taylor, of Bloomington, was traveling east on State Road 54 and was attempting to turn north onto Brick Street around 9:40 a.m.
His 2017 Chevrolet Silverado pick up was hit by a 2003 General Motors Yukon driven by 69-year-old Paul Johnson, of Seymour.
Police say Johnson was traveling west on State Road 54 and failed to yield the right of way and collided at a right angle into Taylor’s pickup.
Taylor was not injured. Johnson suffered a contusion and bruises to his head.
