(BEDFORD) – Two men were arrested early Monday morning after Bedford Police officers were called to a possible fight in the 2500 block of J Street.
When officers arrived, they found two males standing around three other people who were sitting on the ground.
Two of the people sitting on the ground were 19-year-old Jordan Gerkin, of Bedford and 20-year-old Wesley Heath, of Oolitic.
A witness at the scene told police that he witnessed Gerkin and Heath inside his neighbor’s home.
The homeowner told officers that he did not know Gerkin or Wesley. The homeowner also told police that the two men did not have permission to be in his house.
Gerkin and Wesley told police that they entered the home looking for possible stolen property.
Both men were arrested on charges of residential entry and criminal mischief.
