(INDIANAPOLIS) – The introduction of the Red Line is bringing several changes to IndyGo bus routes, but the availability of bus passes in the Indiana Government Center is staying the same.

At least for now.

Indiana Department of Natural Resources Customer Services event manager Shelley Reeves and supervisor Lora Adams said paper IndyGo bus passes are expected to remain available in the DNR Customer Service Center until spring 2020.

There is no firm date yet as to when the availability of paper passes will be discontinued, but that information will be communicated once it becomes available.

The DNR Customer Service Center is located in room W160A and can be reached by phone at 317-232-4200 or 877-463-6367.

This fall, IndyGo will debut a new program that offers riders the ability to pay fares with a reloadable card or via their smartphone. Learn more here.

The Red Line is set to open Sept. 1 and will be free for all riders throughout the month of September. IndyGo representatives said the rest of the IndyGo fixed route network will also be fare-free from Sept. 1 through Sept. 14.
