
(BLOOMINGTON) – A Bloomington teen was arrested after he stabbed a man who was walking with his ex-girlfriend Monday night.
Bloomington police say 18-year-old Daryl Bothell saw his ex-girlfriend walking with a 46-year-old male in the 200 block of East Kirkwood Avenue around 8:40 p.m.
Police say Bothell approached the two and began arguing with them. He then stabbed the man in the left hand with a knife.
Bothell, the 46-year-old and the witness were all on the scene when police arrived. Bothell was arrested on a charge of battery with a deadly weapon.
The male was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
