The board approved paying $13,851. The tax liens include water/sewer liens owed to the City of Bedford.

The Board of Works also approved the payment of $1,989.70 for CCI Ovation and Fortinet Yearly renewal agreement. This is for virus and firewall protection for the city’s computer programs.

And finally, the Board of Works approved payment for insurance for property, liability, automobile, and Workman’s Compensation Insurance.

The insurance totals $343,654, which is an increase of $10,715 or a 3.2 percent cost for all three combined.

The city losses for a three year period contributed to some of the increase but was well below the 5 percent increase officials expected to see.
