  • 7:29 a.m. Report of a missing 2-year-old child in the 4870 block of US 50 East. The child was found hiding under a bed

  • 9:01 a.m. Theft of guns from a home in the 290 block of Dunn Bridge Road. The guns were seized according to state statute and the caller was told to contact his attorney

A mail carrier reported a person had on got their male for several days and they went to the door and the male came to the door with two large gashes on his head and dried blood on his face and there was blood on the carpet. The elderly males says he fell, but the mail carrier is concerned he needs assistance.The male was taken by ambulance to a local hospital

  • 5:43 p.m. Domestic fight in the 4280 block of Leesville Road. The caller says he and his sister got into a fight and he now has scratches on his arm
  • 5:48 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, north of the Co-Op
  • 5:53 p.m. Animal bite in the 660 block of Dutch Ridge Road. A female was bitten by her cousin’s dog and may require stitches
  • 6:01 p.m. Theft in the 6060 block of State Road 60 West. A woman was on station to report the theft of her clothes, wallet and make-up
  • 6:05 p.m. Theft in the 720 block of West Grissom Avenue. The person was at the Mitchell Police Department to report their registration was stolen from her vehicle while it was being worked. Police found the registration in the caller’s glove box
  • 6:34 p.m. Controlled fire in the 2100 block of Reuter Lane
  • 7:10 p.m. A person was on station to report a sex offense
  • 7:11 p.m. Report of a woman in a maroon Chevrolet Envoy sticking herself with a needle and then leaving Old State Road 60 West towards Bedford. There are two children in the back seat
  • 7:20 p.m. Report of an erratic driver on a 4-wheeler at Emerson Gym
  • 7:25 p.m. Traffic stop at Mitchell and Sand Pit roads. A citation was issued for speed
  • 7:45 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Doc Hamilton Boulevard
  • 7:50 p.m. Traffic stop in the 1750 block of Hancok Avenue. Drugs were found in the door and a female was detained
  • 8:40 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle at 12th and West Oak Streets
  • 8:51 p.m. Vehicle pursuit of a black and silver Harley Davidson at State Road 37 and US 50 West. Police lost sight of the vehicle
  • 9:03 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 1200 block of Dixie Highway
  • 9:06 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a male who possibly is staying at the Mitchell Motel. The male was not living there
  • 9:10 p.m. Vandalism in the 320 block of Preston Lane. The caller says his wife was out getting groceries between 4:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. and someone attempted to break into the house. There are pry marks on the door frame. Police said there was a failed attempt to break in and will make extra patrols
  • 9:28 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a gray vehicle at State Road 37 and Stevens Lane
  • 9:48 p.m. Domestic fight in the 180 block of Briar Avenue. The caller’s husband and her son are both intoxicated. The caller says she has slapped her husband in the face for being rude and disorderly. She request and officer to remove the two intoxicated male
  • 10:08 p.m. Traffic barrels are in the roadway on State Road 37, south of Art Gallery Road
  • 10:36 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 3100 block of Rariden Hill Road
  • 11:16 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a red pickup at US 50 East and Shawswick School Road
  • 11:41 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, south of Wesley Chapel Road

  • 12:02 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and US 50 West
  • 12:03 a.m. A caller reported a male is trying to fight them at Main Street and Fifth Street. The two parties were separated and there was no more problem
  • 12:18 a.m. Agency assist at State Road 446 and US 50 East. An elderly male and female is confused and lost. The couple were taken to a local motel for the night and a family member was contacted
  • 12:45 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols in the 2410 block of Guthrie Road
  • 1:07 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Teke Burton Road
  • 2:10 a.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle at Dixie Highway and State Road 37 at the boat ramp
  • 2:46 a.m. Traffic stop at 14th and L street
  • 3:09 a.m. A female reported a male she has a protective order against just broke into her home in the 300 block of North Sixth Street in Mitchell
  • 3:40 a.m. A male who was at the Marathon gas station on State Road 37 reported he is being followed by two black males
