(BEDFORD) – The Bedford Housing Authority met on Thursday afternoon at the Hauck House Common Room.
The Board, in their regular monthly meeting, voted on three resolutions to update policies in regards to Housing Urban Development regulations.
The Board is also looking over bids for a roof repair at Hamilton Courts Apartments. More information will be available at the next regular board meeting.
Bedford Housing Director Bobbie Ames had a cookout recently for Hauck House residents. The cookout was well attended with over 40 residents attending and three staff members assisting with the event. A board member commented on good feedback from a resident.
The Housing Authority was approved for a Lawrence County Community Foundation Grant. The grant will help make some renovations to the bus stop located by Hamilton Courts.
