(HAYSVILLE) – Two teens were injured Wednesday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash at the Sendelweck Curve east of Haysville.
The accident happened at 12:40 p.m about a mile east, of County Road 325 East when 18-year-old Matthew Waggoner, of Shoals, lost control of his 1993 Dodge pick-up on the wet pavement.
The truck ran off the south side of the road, hit an embankment and overturned.
Waggoner suffered a minor cut to his arm but refused medical treatment. his arm.
His 15-year-old passenger from Loogootee complained of pain to his back and neck and suffered a cut to his hand. He was taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The Haysville Volunteer Fire Department, Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services and a Sternberg Automotive Group wrecker assisted.
