Donna Kay “Mom” (White) Lane, 78, of Mitchell, passed away at 8 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2019, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born July 20, 1940, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Hubert and Flora Irene (Hoopingarner) White. She married Jesse “J.B.” Lane August 17, 1957, and he preceded her in death on July 11, 2016.
Donna Kay worked 18 years at Dana Corporation. She enjoyed camping, cooking, and quilting.
Survivors include her children, David (Tammy) Lane of Mitchell, Robert (Betty) Lane of Mitchell, Jim (Michelle) Lane of Mitchell; daughter-in-law, Beth Johnson of Medora; grandsons, Bradley David Lane of Mitchell, Jesse Dale Lane of Mitchell; siblings, Brenda Sue (Larry) Jaggers of Mitchell, Gary Lee White of Mitchell and James L. White of Tennessee
Her parents; son, Roger Dale Lane; granddaughter, Jessica Kay Lane; siblings, Donald White, Jackie Dale White, and Shirley Swartz; and daughter-in-law, Rita Lane, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2019, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Burial will be at Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
