  • 3:42 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a male walking with a little girl and a dog eastbound at State Road 60 and Sonny Dorsett Road. Police say everything was okay
  • 3:51 p.m. Report of a trailer hitch in the roadway on State Road 37 at The Woods
  • 4:10 p.m. Report that a vehicle had been stolen from Spring Mill State Park. The vehicle had been repossessed
  • 4:48 p.m. A female was at the Mitchell Police Department to speak to an officer about a protective order violation
  • 5:13 p.m. Request for animal control to Sandpit Road and South I Street for a dog in the roadway
  • 7:24 p.m. Traffic stop at Springville Judah Road and Meadowbrook Drive. A citation was issued for speed
  • 7:43 p.m. A resident in the 500 block of Trinton Circle reported she is being harassed by her neighbors
  • 7:49 p.m. Traffic stop at Washboard Road and Old State Road 37
  • 8:06 p.m. Domestic fight in the 4880 block of State Road 37 at the Sinclair station. The female says she was assaulted by her stepmother who struck her in the face and she is bleeding. She is on State Road 37 and headed to Paoli and refusing to stop and speak to an officer
  • 8:47 p.m. A woman reported her child’s father took their 8-year-old son from the baseball game in Fayetteville and he is not allowed to have to the child today. The child was returned to their mother
  • 8:47 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 390 block of Hillcrest Way
  • 8:53 p.m. A resident in the 180 block of Kelso Road reported a red Chevy HHR stopped at the end of the driveway and the caller could hear a male and female arguing and the female crying and the vehicle left. Police were unable to locate the vehicle
  • 9:17 p.m. Request for animal control to the 120 block of Bartlett Drive for dogs running loose
  • 9:35 p.m. 911 call to the Budget Inn. An 18-month-old got out of the room and they can’t find him. Officers located the child
  • 9:40 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 310 block of Riverview Addition Road. A male is being physically abused by his grandson
  • 9:42 p.m. Vandalism to a vehicle at McDonald’s in Mitchell
  • 11:21 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle at Hill and Old Vincennes Road. Police stopped the vehicle. There as no issue
  • 11:29 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 220 block of Maple Run Estates
  • 11:50 p.m. Citizen assist in the 1820 block of WPA Road
  • 11:59 p.m. Report of a male inmate having a seizure

  • 12:45 a.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 710 block of Mississippi Avenue
  • 12:54 a.m. Report of a suicidal person at Valley Mission Lane and Valley Mission Road. Police spoke to the female who was not suicidal
  • 1:23 a.m. Medical emergency in the 480 block of West Adams Street
  • 1:36 a.m. Vandalism to a home in the 1550 block of Trogdon Lane
  • 1:39 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1270 block of South Meridian Road. A person was having a seizure
  • 3:49 a.m. Medical emergency at General Motors. A person was unconscious
  • 4:38 a.m. 911 call from Camp Challenge. A camper reported someone was in their cabin
  • 4:40 a.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 3610 block of US 50 East. Two males were screaming and walking along the highway. One is trying to calm the other down. The caller says they are goofing around on the highway. The two males took off running. One 14-year-old male who was intoxicated was taken to his home on Stole Road. The other male took off running down Stone Court
