broker-consulting firms, are excited to announce the promotion of Jaren Hornbeak to Benefits Advisor.
“I am extremely grateful and excited to start this next stage in my career here at JA as a Benefits Advisor,” Hornbeak said. “I look forward to having the opportunity to serve many employers and their employees.”
Since joining the JA Magic in June 2018 as a Business Development Associate, Hornbeak has demonstrated a drive to learn and do more for JA and its clients. Hornbeak began his career as an Intern at Colonial Life. While at Colonial Life, he discovered helping clients solve their problems was his calling.
Hornbeak’s early client service activities included oversight of a variety of client and prospect projects. These projects included live, in-person presentations centered around employee education, as well as developing technology assisted communications. Hornbeak also attended most of the conferences and events JA participated in, where he was responsible for making contact with new prospects and representing JA. Becoming a Benefits Advisor was an obvious next step for Hornbeak.
Outside of the office, his hobbies include reading about current events and hiking with his dog, Baylor. When he has time between training and coaching kids’ teams (ages ranging from 11to 18). Hornbeak’s biggest hobby is playing basketball.
