(JACKSON CO.) – INDOT contractor E&B Paving Inc. will begin work to replace a box culvert on US 31, north of Uniontown, on or after Monday, June 24, weather permitting. The road will close one mile north of State Road 250 for approximately 30 days while work is completed.
Additional bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects are scheduled to begin later this summer on US 31 over Blau Ditch and Grassy Creek, between Crothersville and Uniontown, that will also involve road and lane closures. Additional details will be announced prior to each project’s start date.
The official state detour for all US 31 closures in Jackson County will be I-65 northbound to US 50.
