  • 4:13 p.m. A male was on station to report a child custody issue. The male reported he is not being able to get his child when she should

  • 4:28 p.m. Theft of a safe with $500 inside stole from a home in the 310 block of West Warren Street. The woman located safe before police arrived
  • 4:29 p.m. 911 call in the 1380 block of Buddha Road. A child was playing with a phone
  • 4:49 p.m. A person at the Shell station on State Road 37 reported she was being threatened by a former employee
  • 4:52 p.m. Agency assist with State Police at 12th and M streets
  • 5:04 p.m. Theft of a 500-pound propane tank full of fuel was taken from the 2730 block of AVOCA Eureka Road
  • 5:29 p.m. Report of a large piece of carpet in the roadway at Rabbitsville and Yockey roads
  • 5:45 p.m. Citizen assist in the 160 block of Dale Street. The caller says the neighbor’s children keep knocking on her door and leaving before she answers. Police spoke to the kids
  • 5:50 p.m. Citizen assist in the 430 block of Sugar Hill Addition. The caller says her money is being taken from her front porch by a group of people posing as a lawn care business
  • 5:55 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a red Dodge pickup westbound on US 50 West from State Road 37
  • 5:59 p.m. Traffic stop at 9th Street and Lafayette Avenue in Oolitic
  • 6:07 p.m. Warrant service at Persimmon Park Apartments. Officer could not find the person
  • 6:10 p.m. Report of a suicidal person. The caller says a female is texting her saying her husband is abusive and she wants to end it by taking a bunch of pills. Police could not find the woman at the home. They pinged her phone and went to the JayC lot but did not find her vehicle there. The police found the woman at a home on Windwood Drive and she was fine. She was given Hoosier Hills Pact information and told to call if she needs assistance
  • 7:10 p.m. A resident in the 700 block of Yockey Estates says her 14-year-old daughter is out of control and refusing to do anything her mother tells her to do. Officers spoke to the teen
  • 7:40 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 7740 block of Williams Road. There was a white van parked in the caller’s yard. The van belongs to the farmer that farms the lane
  • 8:01 p.m. Threats in the 580 block of Stevens Lane. The woman says she accidentally texted a wrong number and now that person is sending her threatening text messages. The woman does not know who the number belongs to
  • 8:06 p.m. Document service in the 1030 block of Hunters Creek Road
  • 8:09 p.m. Traffic stop at East Vine Street and North Meridian Road. A citation was issued for a seatbelt violation
  • 8:10 p.m. Agency assist with Indiana State Police at State Road 37, south of Oolitic
  • 8:30 p.m. Traffic stop at Rager and North Meridian roads
  • 8:51 p.m. Warrant service at Persimmon Park Apartments. A woman was arrested

  • 11:40 p.m. A resident at 12th and Maple streets in Mitchell reported a male that lives in a trailer is doing construction on a porch and is using power tools making too much noise. The male said he was done working for the night

  • 12:17 a.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 900 block of West Grissom Avenue after a report of a big black truck with a camper shell speeding up and down the street. Police were unable to locate the vehicle
