Crash In Salem Sends Three To Hospital

(SALEM) – A crash Wednesday morning in Salem sent two people to the University of Louisville Hospital by medical helicopter.


The crash occurred just before 7 a.m. on State Road 56 at the intersection of West Washington School Road.
According to police, a Pontiac G6, driven by 28-year-old Gavin Brewer, was traveling south on West Washington School Road when Brewer failed to stop at the intersection.
The car proceeded into the intersection and was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado driven by 46-year-old Kristina Gill, of Eckery. Gill was traveling west on State Road 56.
Brewer and his passenger 34-year-old Shelby Bagshaw, of Salem, were flown by helicopter to the University of Louisville. Gill was transported to St. Vincent Salem Hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
