  • 5:56 p.m. Report of a suspicious person at Fifth and Frank streets at the city park. A male in a gold Jeep Cherokee or Commander is watching kids in the park. The man is wearing gloves and seems suspicious
  • 6:06 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a male in the 1820 block of WPA Road. The male was fine
  • 6:16 p.m. Citizen assist in the 4140 block of Fort Ritner Road. A female is attempting to get some of her and her child’s belongings from a home. The male is refusing to let her have them. The female has agreed to allow her sone to stay with the male until Friday in exchange of getting some of her belongings
  • 6:42 p.m. Report of a dump truck caught up in powerlines in the 730 block of Spencer Pike Road
  • 6:49 p.m. Medical emergency in the 650 block of Dixie Highway. A person was having trouble breathing
  • 7:02 p.m. Several reports of an erratic driver in a black car at Rabbitsville Road and Hancock Avenue
  • 7:57 p.m. 911 call in the 1910 block of 5th Street. A teenager punched the caller’s little brother at Stalker Park. Bedford Police was alerted
  • 7:58 p.m. Traffic stop at North Meridian Road and Hancock Avenue. A citation was issued for speeding
  • 8:22 p.m. Information report taken at the Sheriff’s Department
  • 8:26 p.m. Warrant service in the 1320 block of Trogdon Lane
  • 9:01 p.m. Citizen assist at the Dollar Store in Mitchell. A male and female were issued no-trespass orders
  • 9:08 p.m. Traffic stop at Stars Boulevard and State Road 58 East. A citation was issued for a passing violation
  • 9:59 p.m. A female was at the Mitchell Police Department to speak to an officer about getting her daughter to a shelter
  • 10:41 p.m. Agency assist in the 1200 block of Woodville Road
  • 10:46 p.m. Several 911 call hangups in the 4710 block of Williams Road.
  • 10:58 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a gold Ford Taurus at State Road 37 and Old State Road 37. The vehicle turned onto Main Street in Oolitic
  • 11:20 p.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Crossroads Church

  • 12:38 a.m. Deputies were out with a male at Old State Road 37 and Crest Motel12:54 a.m. Traffic stop at 4th and M streets. The driver was issued a citation for driving while driver’s license suspended
  • 1:05 a.m. 911 call from the 2110 block of Norton Lane. The caller found a small child in a diaper ran out in front of his vehicle in front of Garden Villa
  • 1:59 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols on Steve Earl Road
  • 2 a.m. Traffic stop at Teke Burton Drive and West Main Street
  • 2:38 a.m. Deputies were out with a suspicious vehicle at the Dollar General Store on US 50 East
  • 3:01 a.m. Deputies are out with a female at Vista Drive, south of the VFW
  • 3:20 a.m. Deputies were out with a vehicle at River Road, a mile from Underwood Road. A female was transported to Meridian Road and Daisey Lane

Accidents – May 21

  • 10:58 a.m. Property damage accident at the Judah junction. A citation was issued for suspended driver’s license
  • 11:44 a.m. Property damage accident at Heltonville Store
  • 2:44 p.m. Property damage accident in the 920 block of Ridgedale Drive. Someone had backed into her vehicle while parked in the driveway
